Supporting the Havasi Wilderness Foundation using IGive

The Havasi Wilderness Foundations goal is to educate the public about the natural world and instill a desire to protect it. We work hard to teach students in all communities about the nature they are a part of. Through field trips and online education we bring nature to as many students as we can. Each year in California only 11 percent of grade 4 through 9 students have the opportunity to participate in any outdoor school experience. Your donations can help us get this to 100%.

We also support wildlife sanctuaries that host rescued and recovering populations of big cats and gibbons, who also serve as great educators themselves. Join us in the fight to protect the world we all live in.

We added a new fundraising organization: iGive.com. Every time one of our supporters makes a purchase from one of the over 2,400 stores, the Havasi Wilderness Foundation gets credit that eventually leads to money earned for our organization. So you can save the planet while doing your regular shopping!

We even earn a $10 bonus donation when you refer a friend who shops! Tell a friend

iGive.com will give us a contribution if you shop and are registered with them. All you need to do is make an account and then select the Havasi Wilderness Foundation as the cause you support. Then have fun shopping through the IGive website. Available deals and the percentage of your purchase that will be donated is listed on iGive.com.

Isaac Yelchin is foremost a herpetologist. He studies lizards, frogs, newts, and the like. Specifically, he spends all day and night thinking about what it is like to be an animal. What are the animals thinking about? What is their perspective? When he should be working, he sits and stares at his pet lizard asking himself these questions.
